Both Songbird and Songbird Caged have managed to suck my me and keep me hooked from beginning to end with their brilliant story lines and lovable characters.

Lisa Edward certainly knows how to keep a reader guessing because I cant even begin to guess which of these guys Tara is going to end up with, and even more confusing I can't even decide who I want her to end up with!

Usually with a book you know who you want to end up together and there is always one character you love more than the other, but not with this book! I honestly could not even begin to choose between Cole and Riley. On the up side I will be happy with whoever she ends up with, on the downside I will be soo heartbroken for whoever loses her.

In my opinion it takes a very talented author to be able to weave a tale like this and still manage to keep the ending a complete mystery. I can't praise Songbird Caged enough and encourage you all to buy this amazing book.

Overall I give Songbird Cage 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS and I am now eagerly awaiting book 3!

“I’d like to take you out.”
I looked at Cole, slightly amused. “We go out all the time.”
“No, we go to your place, we come here. We go to the gym, for a run on the beach, or we go to Songbirds. We don’t go out.”
We were sitting on Cole’s couch in his apartment, looking at light fittings for Reds on the Internet.
He was wringing his hands. “Would you like to go out with me?” he asked.
I frowned. “What, like on a date?”
“If that’s what you want to call it. I don’t know, I’ve never been on a date. But if going out to dinner and then a club together is a date, then sure, let’s call it a date.”
I looked at him warily. “You do know I’m engaged, right? You haven’t forgotten?”
He shrugged. “In theory. But there’s no harm in letting me take you out. I mean, officially take you out—on a date.”
I had to think about this for a minute. Was it asking for trouble to let him believe we could actually date when I had made a commitment to Riley?
“You know, even if you pay for dinner, I’m not going to sleep with you,” I said with a smile.
“So what’s the point of paying for dinner, then?” he asked cheekily. He took hold of my hands in his. “I wouldn’t expect you to sleep with anyone on a first date. You’re not that kind of girl.”
I exhaled slowly, weighing up how to respond. “Okay, we can go out on three conditions.”
He nodded.
“Firstly, we need to have other people there, so maybe Marcus and Nicole can come with us.”
“Like a double date,” he said, teasingly.
I chuckled, and shook my head. “Secondly, you have to stop calling it a date.”
He grinned at me cheekily.
“Thirdly, you have to wear your Calvin Klein jeans, the ones that fit your butt really well.”

I awoke with a start.

My arm had gone to sleep from laying on it all night, and my face was squished into someone’s neck. It was Cole’s. I inhaled his warm cedar and musk scent. Even after sleeping on the couch all night, he smelt unbelievable.

Sitting up, I moved my head from side to side, trying to stretch out the kinks.

“Good morning, sleepy head. Did you just sniff me again?”

I looked down at Cole. He was grinning up at me as I rubbed my shoulders and numb arm.

“Good morning,” I replied with a groan, as I stretched my arms over my head. “You know I’m staying here so I don’t have to sleep on a couch. Kind of defeats the purpose, spending the night out here.”

He sat up and started rubbing my arm, trying to get the blood to flow back into it.

“I disagree. I’m sure I’m much more comfortable to lay on than your lumpy couch.” He moved his attention to my shoulders, and I sighed. “Besides, it’s not every day I have someone dribble all down my neck.”

I wiped my hand across my cheek. It was damp. Oh my God, I had dribbled in my sleep. I checked Cole’s neck and quickly wiped it dry.

“You should be used to it,” I said, trying to make light of the embarrassing situation. “You have girls drooling over you everywhere you go.”

He chuckled. “No one who matters.” He took my hand away from his now dry neck and held it. “Until now, that is.”

My Views:

Book boyfriends need to take a step back because  a guy worthy of being a BOOK HUBBY is coming through! That's right people, be prepared to fall swooning at his feet and become a member of what is sure to be an army of Nash junkies.

I had SUPER high expectations of Nash, being as Marked Men are my favorite series EVER, and not only did Jay Crownover deliver, she smashed them out of the freaking park too.

Nash had me falling completely and utterly in love with him and his story. He has a heart-breaking past that made me want to reach in and give him the biggest cuddle. Jay Crownover writes with such a real rawness that you cant help be drawn into the emotions of these characters... Cue snot bubble inducing ugly crying.

It's possible that Nash has the biggest heart of the guys and  he had me swooning all over the place with his total sweetness, he also gave me plenty of panty-melting raunchyness, that got me all hot and bothered in the right places. One things for sure, this guy is HOT AS HELL!

I absolutely adored Saint. She is the girl that I relate to most out of all of them and I totally found my kindred spirit in her. She is so broken by her insecurity's but at the same time she is feisty too. I love the dynamic of Saint and Nash's relationship, it kept me hooked from beginning to end.

I am declaring Jay Crownover a complete genius for creating so many characters you cant help but fall in love with. There is not one that is not fantastically awesome and I soo want to be Jay when I grow up.

Overall I LOVED Nash HARD and no amount of stars could be enough. Basically I could go on and on about this book and the series all day but I wont, just do yourselves a favor and buy this little beauty. You wont be disappointed.

I'm supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I'm an natural redhead even though I haven't seen my real hair color in years, I'm a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that. I love to write, love to read and all I'm interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. Thanks for taking the time to check my stuff out...

Facing Me (Shaft on Tour #2) by Cat Mason BOOK TOURE + MY 5* REVIEW + GIVEAWAY

Title: Facing Me (Shaft on Tour #2)
Author: Cat Mason
Genre: Adult Romance
Publication Date: March 25

“Everyone has a story my pages are just a lot darker than most.”

Aiden Chesterfield needs control like he needs to breathe. It pushes back the dark past he tries to pretend doesn’t exist. Just as badly as he needs the structure that domination provides, he needs Camaron to be the one to submit to him. Though, when Aiden realizes how unworthy she feels of his love; he sends her away. Her insecurities anger him, but break him at the same time. Forcing him to come to the realization that her emotions are one thing he cannot control.

Camaron Allen left everything to start her life over in Vegas with hopes of finding family. After losing the man she loves because of her insecurities she’s determined to become stronger. When a phone call from her best friend has her taking on a new career, she is forced to face more than herself. Shaft is hitting the big time and everyone wants a piece of the rockers’ pie; and some are willing to do anything to get it. Will Cam and Aiden be able to move beyond their fears and face the possibility of a future, together? Or will they forever fight their demons alone?

This series is fast becoming one of my favorites. I absolutely adored Gray and Daisy's story in book one and Aidan and Camaron made me fall in love with them just as hard.

There is something about the way all of the characters interact with each that make you want to be part of their gang. They are all unbelievably cool and seriously funny, I spent a good part of this book absolutely cracked up with laughter at their harsh and inappropriate banter.

Aidan and Camaron's story is so touching, they have both been through so much and have their own inner demons that they need to face. I love the dynamic of their relationship too. I enjoyed the fact that Aiden was her Dom but it wasn't done in a way so it overtook the whole story.

These kinky characters have most definitely worked their way into my head and my heart. I cannot wait for Hunters story next and will be eagerly awaiting to get that baby in my hands.

Overall I give Facing Me was freaking awesome and I give it 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!
