Dom Wars Round Six BY Lucian Bane & Aden Lowe COVER REVEAL + GIVEAWAY

Title: Dom Wars Round Six
Authors: Lucian Bane & Aden Lowe
Release Date: August 13, 2014
Genre: BDSM Erotic Romance

Synopsis:
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES EIGHTEEN AND UP DUE TO EXPLICIT SEXUAL SITUATIONS, AND STRONG LANGUAGE

When Gladiator Inc, an adult toy company expands their market to familiarize the ‘vanilla’ world with the elements of BDSM, the result is a pay-per-view reality show with video feeds streamed live to subscribers. The show, Dom Wars, is a competition to determine the Top Dom that will become the spokesperson for the company.
The contestants all wear cameras to film every moment and angle of the competition, while they complete various challenges to determine who has ultimately Dominated various elements of themselves.
The hero and heroine of the series, Lucian Bane and Tara Reese, have barely made it into the Sixth and Final Round of Dom Wars. This week-long Survival Round will determine the Top Dom, once and for all.
The contestants are taken to an uninhabited island, where they will have to cross formidable jungle terrain. First Dom to reach the boat anchored on the other side of the island wins the million dollars and the title.
Seems simple. Except Lucian’s old adversary, the Sadist Jase Duff from Round One, has been tasked with making sure none of the five teams make it to the boat.
If he is successful, he wins the prize, only it's not money that Jase Duff cares about, its revenge on Lucian and Tara. And his sadistic need to inflict pain makes it game on

About the Authors:

Lucian Bane:
My name is Lucian Bane, and I'm an Ineffable Dom. That just means, do yourself a favor and please don't try to fit me into categories. Complicated Dom, Intricate Dom, or Confounding Dom work too.
I don't want a woman I can break, or overpower, or exercise my dominance over. I want a woman I can come undone with. I want a woman I can lose myself in.
I think there are many men like myself, and I hope my writing will be a map for them. (And women, to let them know Doms like this exist.) I want to challenge men to go for the complete power exchange with a woman, but don't be a coward and not give the same that they demand or expect. Consider that when you give one hundred percent of yourself to a person, there is no more of you to give away. You now belong to them the way they belong to you.
Inner Doms need a master to train them. I once bowed to my Dom's reckless and tireless desires, but when I gained control, he bowed to my will. The transformation made me into what I am today. What many would call an Ineffable Dom. But its equal term in the Vanilla world, in my opinion, is a real man

Aden Lowe:
As an English major in college, I took a summer job as a proofreader for a small town newspaper, and got hooked on editing. I also worked my way through college training horses. After graduation, I landed a job for a small independent editing firm, and stayed there for 15 yrs. An old friend, Lucian, approached me to edit his special fiction project, and I got hooked. After an insane few months editing his Dom Wars series for him, Lucian convinced me I should try my hand at writing as well. I’m his co-author for Round Six, the final Dom Wars installment, and we will co-write the White Knight Academy series as well. And in Sept 2014, I’ll release my debut solo work, an Erotic Western with BDSM elements, “Big Game: A Hunted Love Novella”. In addition, I have a military series in the planning stages.

Better When He's Bad by Jay Crownover BLOG TOUR + MY 6* REVIEW + GIVEAWAY

About BETTER WHEN HE’S BAD:
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jay Crownover returns with a heart-stopping new series… Welcome to the Point.
There’s a difference between a bad boy and a boy who’s bad . . . meet Shane Baxter.
Sexy, dark, and dangerous, Bax isn’t just from the wrong side of the tracks, he is the wrong side of the tracks. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he’s the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years. Now Bax is out and looking for answers, and he doesn’t care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to get them. But there’s a new player in the game, and she’s much too innocent, much too soft…and standing directly in his way.
Dovie Pryce knows all about living a hard life and the tough choices that come with it. She’s always tried to be good, tried to help others, and tried not to let the darkness pull her down. But the streets are fighting back, things have gone from bad to worse, and the only person who can help her is the scariest, sexiest, most complicated ex-con The Point has ever produced.
Bax terrifies her, awakening feelings she never thought she’d have for a guy like him. But it doesn’t take Dovie long to realize . . . some boys are just better when they’re bad.

MY REVIEW:

Holy hell...I just...WOW! I am so completely overwhelmed by by the pure awesomeness that is Bax.
I had seen the teasers and had been eagerly awaiting Better When He's Bad and it couldn't of exceeded my expectations more.

It it no secret that I am a MASSIVE Marked Men and Jay Crownover fan so I was super excited to read her latest masterpiece. I knew that Better When He's Bad was a new direction for Jay  but there was no way I could of prepared for how fantastic it was going to be or how hard I was going to flat out fall in love with these characters.

Bax is not your average so-called Bad Boy, he isn't this guy that's misunderstood and has a whole load of redeeming qualities, oh no! Bax is a true bad boy, he comes from a bad place, he is just out of prison and hell if that doesn't just make him even hotter in my book!

Do not go into this book expecting hearts and flowers because that isn't what this story is about, but if you enjoy a gritty read full of scorching hot pages and characters that invade your brain and stay there then this is the book for you.

Overall I give Better When He's Bad 6 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!

Reasons not to Fall in Love by Kirsty Moseley

Reasons not to Fall in Love
By: Kirsty Moseley
Release Date: June 6, 2014
Genre: Romance
Synopsis
Young mum Bronwyn Reynolds is devoted to her little boy Theo, but she's married to a not so devoted husband! Juggling two jobs to make ends meet, Bronwyn's self-esteem is at an all-time low.
Enter Harrison Baxter.
Harrison is confident, flirty and breathtakingly handsome – and everything Bronwyn's husband is not! What's worse is that she knows every sexy thought about him is forbidden, which makes him all the more tempting.
The only woman that ladies' man Harrison has ever wanted is one he can never have. Bronwyn has left her mark on him, and he can't get her out of his mind no matter how hard he tries!
Bronwyn and Harrison have every reason not to fall in love, but are they brave enough to break all the rules?
About The Author
My name is Kirsty. I was born in Hertfordshire, England. In 2000 I moved to Norfolk, it was there that I met my husband, Lee. Now, what can I say about Lee, apart from everyone should have one? He's my biggest supporter, and I wouldn't be where I am today without his encouragement and endless support. He is my inspiration behind most of my male leads, I always try to bring a little of him in somewhere, be it his kindness, selflessness, or just his ability to make me feel treasured.
In 2005, I was gifted with the birth of my son. He is, and always will be, the best thing I have ever done in my life. As you can probably tell, I'm a very proud mummy. I have always been interested in writing, but after the birth of my son I accidentally came across an amateur writing site. After a couple of months of just reading on there, I finally plucked up the courage and posted one of my stories. I was shocked and overwhelmed by the support of readers on there and they gave me the confidence to get where I am today. In April 2012, I self-published my first novel 'The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window'. And in October 2012 I took the plunge again, publishing my second novel, 'Always You.' Lastly, if I had to sum myself up in one word, it would probably be 'daydreamer' – but unlike most of my school teachers, I don't necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, I read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams….

Excerpt
I blinked a couple of times, trying to come back to reality because looking at him made me feel a little weird inside. Harrison. I'd heard of this guy. He was the one who was in business with Brandon. The two of them had both been made redundant from their advertising jobs last year and had decided to go into business together instead of looking for another job. Skye and Brandon had become extremely good friends with this guy over the last year, so I'd heard. I'd never personally met him, but now that I knew who he was, I knew to stay away. Harrison Baxter was a ladies' man and fancied himself as Bath's answer to James Bond, apparently.
One of the gorgeous stranger's eyebrows rose. "Married, really? Damn, all of the hot ones are always taken or gay. Why is that, do you think?" he mused, cocking his head to the side playfully.
His voice did funny things to my insides. I was lost for words. Nothing was coming out of my mouth at all, so I just looked back down at Evie who was nestled comfortably in my arms.
"You happily married?" he probed, stepping closer to me. The heat emanating from his body to mine was making me feel a little jittery and I couldn't stand still.
No, not at all. I gulped and nodded in answer to his question, trying to ignore the feelings of lust and want that were battling inside me. It was wrong for me to feel like this. I knew it was. I was married, and although Finn cheated on me occasionally, I would never do the same. "Happy married with a child," I confirmed, nodding. Only part of that sentence was a lie. I did, in fact, have a child – I had just never been happily married.
Review
Sweet, hot and full of equal amounts of drama and love this was one of my favorite book this year!
The characters were both  loveable and relateable. I couldn't help but fall in love with Bronwyn and Harrison (boy is he LUSH!) their story drew me in and I literally could not put this book down.
This is a short story but I am already preparing to beg Kirsty Moseley to give us book 2 (at least) because I could read about these characters all day long.
Overall I freaking adored this book and give it 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!

Both Songbird and Songbird Caged have managed to suck my me and keep me hooked from beginning to end with their brilliant story lines and lovable characters.

Lisa Edward certainly knows how to keep a reader guessing because I cant even begin to guess which of these guys Tara is going to end up with, and even more confusing I can't even decide who I want her to end up with!

Usually with a book you know who you want to end up together and there is always one character you love more than the other, but not with this book! I honestly could not even begin to choose between Cole and Riley. On the up side I will be happy with whoever she ends up with, on the downside I will be soo heartbroken for whoever loses her.

In my opinion it takes a very talented author to be able to weave a tale like this and still manage to keep the ending a complete mystery. I can't praise Songbird Caged enough and encourage you all to buy this amazing book.

Overall I give Songbird Cage 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS and I am now eagerly awaiting book 3!

“I’d like to take you out.”
I looked at Cole, slightly amused. “We go out all the time.”
“No, we go to your place, we come here. We go to the gym, for a run on the beach, or we go to Songbirds. We don’t go out.”
We were sitting on Cole’s couch in his apartment, looking at light fittings for Reds on the Internet.
He was wringing his hands. “Would you like to go out with me?” he asked.
I frowned. “What, like on a date?”
“If that’s what you want to call it. I don’t know, I’ve never been on a date. But if going out to dinner and then a club together is a date, then sure, let’s call it a date.”
I looked at him warily. “You do know I’m engaged, right? You haven’t forgotten?”
He shrugged. “In theory. But there’s no harm in letting me take you out. I mean, officially take you out—on a date.”
I had to think about this for a minute. Was it asking for trouble to let him believe we could actually date when I had made a commitment to Riley?
“You know, even if you pay for dinner, I’m not going to sleep with you,” I said with a smile.
“So what’s the point of paying for dinner, then?” he asked cheekily. He took hold of my hands in his. “I wouldn’t expect you to sleep with anyone on a first date. You’re not that kind of girl.”
I exhaled slowly, weighing up how to respond. “Okay, we can go out on three conditions.”
He nodded.
“Firstly, we need to have other people there, so maybe Marcus and Nicole can come with us.”
“Like a double date,” he said, teasingly.
I chuckled, and shook my head. “Secondly, you have to stop calling it a date.”
He grinned at me cheekily.
“Thirdly, you have to wear your Calvin Klein jeans, the ones that fit your butt really well.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I awoke with a start.
My arm had gone to sleep from laying on it all night, and my face was squished into someone’s neck. It was Cole’s. I inhaled his warm cedar and musk scent. Even after sleeping on the couch all night, he smelt unbelievable.
Sitting up, I moved my head from side to side, trying to stretch out the kinks.
“Good morning, sleepy head. Did you just sniff me again?”
I looked down at Cole. He was grinning up at me as I rubbed my shoulders and numb arm.
“Good morning,” I replied with a groan, as I stretched my arms over my head. “You know I’m staying here so I don’t have to sleep on a couch. Kind of defeats the purpose, spending the night out here.”
He sat up and started rubbing my arm, trying to get the blood to flow back into it.
“I disagree. I’m sure I’m much more comfortable to lay on than your lumpy couch.” He moved his attention to my shoulders, and I sighed. “Besides, it’s not every day I have someone dribble all down my neck.”
I wiped my hand across my cheek. It was damp. Oh my God, I had dribbled in my sleep. I checked Cole’s neck and quickly wiped it dry.
“You should be used to it,” I said, trying to make light of the embarrassing situation. “You have girls drooling over you everywhere you go.”
He chuckled. “No one who matters.” He took my hand away from his now dry neck and held it. “Until now, that is.”
