About Me

Hi, I'm Jen and welcome to my blog!

I love to read, for me there is nothing better than getting lost in a book :o) I tend to get sucked into a good story and love discussing plots and characters with anyone I can get to listen. I'm a sucker for a romance and all the pure filth that accompanies it! I'm the lady always rooting for the bad boy lol.

I also enjoy young adult, new adult, fantasy, biographies and erotica but I'm open to reviewing all types of books, I'm a try anything one kinda girl! I will review both paperback and Ebooks.

About the Author

Jillian Dodd grew up on a farm in Nebraska, where she developed a love for Midwestern boys and Nebraska football. She has drank from a keg in a cornfield, attended the University of Nebraska, got to pass her candle, and did have a boy ask her to marry him in a bar. She met her own prince in college, and they have two amazing children, a Maltese named Sugar Bear, and two Labrador puppies named Camber Lacy and Cali Lucy.
She is the author of the That Boy Trilogy and The Keatyn Chronicles Series.

About the book

Camryn is beautiful, sassy, sexy and fiesty. She also has a broken heart and is grieving for her Fiancé Zach who was killed overseas 2years ago. She has made a rule to never let another man kiss her lips unless she is In love with them.

He is the first man in two years that makes Camryn want to forget her rule and the attraction is mutual. Partly to protect herself she places a bet with him that he won't be able to go a week without kissing her for the first time.

Camryn isn't ready to share the hurtful memories of her past and is keeping Teague in the dark, just as Teague is keeping his many secrets hidden from her.

With the help of Camryn's sister Melanie and Teague's cousins Kellie and Jay, they see if they can get past the hurt, let each other in and see if they can learn to love again.

My views :)

First thing I loved about this book was the characters and how much back story you get for both Teague and Camryn. I became really attached to them and when I was finished the book I was in major book hangover mode and thinking..

The witty banter and smart mouth comments throughout the book had me laughing and kept the pace of the story at a good flow. Its entertaining, romantic, sad and treats us to more than a few yummy love scenes that will have you like..

Carmen is an absolutely brilliant main character, she is bad-ass and more than capable of handling herself (shown by the few punches we see her deliver to some well deserving jerks). I loved that she didn't create huge drama every time a secret came out about Teague, she took it in her stride and dealt with it. She really is just

Hadley Quinn hit it out of the park with this book. I will be recommending it to anyone that will listen. I cant wait to read the next book in the series which features Jay.

About the book

Tag chaser is a gorgeously written love story about Paisley Bronson, a 27year old Tag Chaser. Paisley is happy with her army men, she can have a good time with them *wink wink*, and they will leave for deployment meaning they never get to close - perfect.

When her best friend McKenzie bets her that she couldn't give up tag chasing Paisley's competitive nature wins out and so the bet is on. On the same night the bet is placed Paisley meets a lick your lips, sexy hunk of a man, Mr Corbin Ray.

Paisley thinks she has lucked out, sure she will now be able to win the bet hands down. That is until she discovers that Corbin is in fact a military man, she decides to stick to the bet and runs before anything can happen, coast clear right....wrong! When Paisley gets to work the next morning she is introduced to her new client and would you believe it, It's Corbin Ray!

And so begins a game of will they, won't they. To make things just a little more complicated Paisley's guy best friend Tanner (I LOVE him by the way!) turns up, she really counts on him for his support and values his friendship more than anything, but is it only a friendship they both want? I don't want to ruin this review with spoilers so you will have to read to find out exactly what goes on between these two!

My views :)

This book gave me stingy eyes, not because I was crying, although there are a couple if moments that made my heart ache, but because I just could not sleep until I had finished this brilliant story.

The characters are just so easy to relate to and the the story is so believable that I was drawn in. I felt for Paisley, the reasons she struggles to trust and commit to someone were heartbreaking and hearing Corbin's back story just put a lump in my throat the size of a damn golf ball.

I love a good will they, won't they and this is just that. It's romantic, witty and funny too. If you enjoy a love story with some sexyness thrown in then this is the book for you.
