My Views:
Lean On Me is all about what is going on with Rachel and Jared whilst Emily and Dexter are in the States. I was so pleased when I found out that this book was dedicated to telling us their story because I found myself constantly thinking about the pair of them during Take My Hand and wondering what was going on with them.
I adore Rachel and Jared, their banter had me absolutely cracked up throughout the book and I really enjoyed seeing how their relationship developed. There are a couple of parts in this story that also had me reaching for the tissues though. Nicola Haken doesn't gloss over the fact that Rachel is disabled and she faces all the complications this causes head on which makes this book so much more believable.
I have absolutely fallen in love with these books and their characters. For me each book in this series has gotten better than the last and I cannot wait to see what surprises the next one brings!
I Give Lean On My 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!
Nicola lives in Rochdale, England with her husband and four children and she is the author of New Adult/Contemporary romance novels Inevitable, Saving Amy and the Take My Hand series. When she is not busy playing with her imaginary book friends (or talking about them with real life friends!) she can usually be found studying or carrying out her ordinary mum/housewife/all round slave duties!
