My Views
This was such a sweet book to read! I LOVED the storyline, it's a good solid plot and the characters were really relate-able and loveable too. I liked that it didn't play out how I thought it would and gave some really good twists too, at some parts I was like
First we have the BEAUTIFUL Everleigh, she is smart mouthed and doesn't take CRAP from people. She has some of the best lines in the book and the banter she had with her friends, both lads and gals, was hilarious and had me
Then we get introduced to Hunter, he is a drop dead, I want to lick him up and down, certified HOTTIE!! Who doesn't love a big, muscly, self defense instructor that wants nothing more than to protect you? Like seriously
We also have some other FANTABULOUS characters such as Sam, she is Everleigh's bestest friend and she totally reminds me of me, as in no brain to mouth filter LOL. Whatever she's thinking is what comes out usually with major TMI involved! We also have Griffin, the LUSH and caring bartender who completely stole my heart, like I LOVED him and wanted him for myself, I was like
The author Genna Rulon is obviously a very clever writer and this really shows in her characters WITTY dialogue. There are very few slang words used and everything is described in great detail, from the scenery to the clothing and how the characters are feeling. The result is the reader gets to really feel like they are experiencing the story, it TOTALLY had me
There are some really sad and touching parts in this book, I thought that the difficult subjects were dealt with brilliantly. It was refreshing to read a book that was just as much about the story as it was about the HEA. There was a whole lot of SUSPENSE and plenty of ROMANCE
Overall this is a really well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend buying it and I am really looking forward to book 2 in the series. So go buy it, and I'l be waiting to say
