My views:
You sweet , sexy, possessive, hot piece of ass, oh Remy how I love you! Remington 'RIPTIDE' Tate is one of my favorite characters of this year and definitely one of the hottest too. This guy has it all, and his fight scenes had me as hot and bothered as all the raunchy, panty-melting sex scenes.
Brooke was just as loveable as she was in Real and I love how she handles Remy. She really grounds Remy and their relationship is just so intense it is truly captivating to read about. Their love for one another always comes through and they had my heart beating out my chest with some of their scenes.
Their relationship is not an easy one, especially with Remy being Bi-polar but I loved that the author didn't gloss over the hardships that this causes. She faces this mental illness head on and made this story believable and emotional because of it. Some parts of this book really hits home the devastating effects BP can have on people, it certainly had me crying at times.
One of my favorite things about this book is the amount of music references. I listened to these songs whilst reading the book and it really transports you into the story. I absolutely loved Mine just as much as I did Real, as in I didn't sleep just so I could finish it and I would recommend it as one of my Must Reads of 2013.
Katy Evans....
About the Author:
Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a
real sexy boyfriend to love. They married and are now hard at work on
their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she
also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her
characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the
beginning…
