“Okay, Morgan. Fun’s over. You’re the winner of this round.” Katy grumbled as she attempted to regain her balance by swinging her legs the rest of the way onto the couch. Unfortunately Kevin’s legs had to follow, which put them completely horizontal on the couch with her body melded to his. Her eyes widened this time not in surprise, but in recognition of the reaction that had been created in the lower regions of Kevin’s body that Katy could feel pressing against her abdomen through her thin pajama shorts. “Oh, I’ll have to disagree with you there, Martin. “ He said teasingly with a sensual tone. My Review:
After reading Coming Home I was looking forward to hearing Kevin and Katy's story and I have got to say I actually prefered Playing For Keeps. I think it's because both Kevin and Katy are light hearted characters.
Their banter is funny and witty and it made me laugh out loud several times throughout the book. I also enjoyed the sexual tension between the two of them.
Overall I really enjoyed Playing For Keeps and give it 4 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS. I would recommend this book as the ideal holiday read.

- Knowing what it’s like to grow up in a small town, I wanted to recreate that environment and the essence of small town unity in Kevin and Katy’s story.
